Unusual Car Insurance Claims Being Reported
Just when insurers thought they’d heard it all, come new and unusual car insurance claims. Elephant car insurance has revealed an unusual set of claims ranging from nude pedestrians jumping on top of their car to filling up a tank with shampoo instead of petrol.
The car insurer went on to reveal other odd claims like windscreen damage from a nut-throwing squirrel to a melted windscreen from a flame-engulfed Harrier jet after a crash landing. How about an upset camel who decided to release its energy on a parked car or a tired horse that thought someone’s bonnet would be a nice place for a sit down?
These bizarre, if not amusing, set of claims are among the many that insurers have to consider. Managing director of Elephant.co.uk, Brian Martin, said: “From nut-wielding squirrels, naked pedestrians and aircraft, it seems it’s not just other motorists that drives should be watching out for. These strange incidents go to show drivers need to be aware of their surroundings all the time.”
Well said Mr. Martin. However, there are some things that are simply out of our control.
